Did you know that the Ada area has a Foundation in place whose sole purpose is to provide a fund- raising entity to help raise and receive funds for civic, patriotic, educational, recreational, scientific, and other charitable purposes? The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation was established in 2015 for that exact purpose and is here to help assist with these types of endeavors! Since its inception, the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation has played an instrumental role in the much–needed improvements to Ada’s Trail of Lights, located in Wintersmith Park. If you drove through the park in the past couple of Decembers, you’ve probably noticed the impact that the Foundation has helped make.
So, whether you are looking to host an event to raise funds for your next charitable purpose, or have aspirations of funding scholarship opportunities for future students, the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is ready to partner with you to help turn your ideas into reality.
Trail Of Lights
In 2015, the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Ada, the Chickasaw Nation, businesses, families and individuals came together to enhance the Christmas lights in Wintersmith Park. The goal was to increase the number of Christmas Light displays you see while driving through our beautiful park! With a group effort, the Chamber of Commerce was able to raise over $250,000 and purchase over 30 new displays for Wintersmith Park. Since the beginning, we have added more displays making Wintersmith Park a tourist destination for Christmas. This would not have been possible without the generosity of our community. The goal is to enhance the Trail of Lights at the Wintersmith Park by adding more unique displays in the future.
